Dokkaibi Soju
Illustrations created in response to a brief for a brand of soju, the national Korean drink. The images were created initially as linocuts, which were then digitised, enlarged and screen-printed as limited edition promotional posters.
The brand identity is based around the mischievous "Dokkaibi" from Korean folklore, loosely analogous to goblins. An additional linocut booklet illustrated the story of a man who befriended one of these creatures until realising he in fact was becoming one himself!
Lobster Commuters
Unsuccessful proposal for a craft beer company, based around the title "Stranger than Fiction". Original illustration created in fineliner, then digitally coloured.
The concept is based around a fictional cryptid sighting (aren't they all?) of a group of corporate lobsters on their way to the financial district on the London tube.
